As with any internet poll only a very small portion of the people visiting the web page actually take the poll.  This poll is important to the success of this project.  In order to assemble all the information from the 500,000 plus messages posted to the forum a successful print copy of the book is essential to support the project.

In addition the print cookbook would draw a wider audience to the forum through sales of the book to retail outlets.  The funds a successful book could produce would finance other projects that would expand the scope and content of the forum.  It would also promote barbecue in a way we cannot do without a successful print book.
